Judgement declared against Nawaz Sharif

The Pakistan Supreme Court Declared its decision on Friday, 28th July 2017.

Ex. Prime Minister has been declared disqualified under article 62 & 63.

Dissolution of Federal Cabinet

Disqualified Nawaz Sharif as Member of Parliament resulted with immediate effect the dissolution of The Federal Cabinet automatically.

Ex. Prime Minister Mr. Sharif has also lost the designation and role of chairmanship of his own political party under Political Parties Act 2002 which states that a disqualified individual cannot hold a party office.

Disqualification for being dishonest

Under article 62 & 63 of Pakistan Act, Mr Sharif is no more eligible being an honest member in the Parliament.

The decision in the Panamagate Case was announced by the Supreme Court this morning with a delay of about half an hour.

This historical decision was announced by the all five-member larger bench of the apex court. Justice Asif Saeed Khosa, Justice Gulzar Ahmad, Justice Ijaz Afzal, Justice Sheikh Azmat Saeed and Ijazul-Ahsan are part of the bench.

Speaker of National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Mohammad Sadiq will release the schedule of the by-election.

History being repeated

He has stepped down as P.M of Pakistan.
